Huge differences in numbers of officers in German and British Royal Navy according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1938 no. 5

An item referred to the magazine R.U.S.I. dated May 1938 reporting that the German Kriegsmarine counted 4.332 officers against the 8.924 of the British Royal Navy. The British number however included 1.232 so-called warrant officers while Germany called this senior petty officers.
