Connecticut-class
An item referred to the Army and Navy Journal reporting that the Kansas (2) part of the American Atlantic Fleet executed full speed tests of with the following results: speed 18(design)-18,09 (when handed over)-18,96 (in service) miles and with a displacement of 16.000 (when handed over)-17.110 (in service) tons.

1. Connecticut-class consisting Connecticut, Louisiana, Kansas, New Hampshire, Minnesota and Vermont, preceded by the Virginia-class and succeeded by the Mississippi-class. Ordered on 3 March 1903, laid down at New York Shipbuilding Company on 10 February 1904, launched by Anna Hoch on 12 August 1905, commissioned on 18 April 1907, decommissioned on 16 December 1921, stricken on 24 August 1923 and broken at the Philadelphia Navy Yard in 1924.
