French navy stronger as German navy according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 11 March 1911

An item dated Paris, France 10 March referred to a statement of the French minister of navy Delcassé (1) in the Assemblée Nationale Francaise that in 1920 Germany would possess 20 battleships, a similar number to the French navy. Germany would posses then 12 against French 18 armoured cruisers, which were however stronger.
