British battleship 1st class Trafalger temporarily stranded according to the Dutch newspaper Soerabaijasch handelsblad dated 9 April 1907

An item dated London, England 8th reported that the British battleship 1st class Trafalger stranded on the rocks of Devilspoint near Devonport, England but in the meantime was refloated.(1)

1. Of the Trafalgar-class with as sister ship Nile. Preceded by the Admiral and Victoria-classes and succeeded by the HMS Hood and the Royal Sovereign and Centurion-classes. Laid down at the Portsmouth Dockyard on 18 January 1886, launched on 20 September 1887, commissioned on 2 April 1890, port guard ship at Portsmouth 1897-1902, training ship for gun turret crews and submerged torpedo tubes handling and finally sold to be broken up on 9 April 1912.
