French battleship Jena probably lost according to the Dutch newspaper Soerabaijasch handelsblad dated 16 March 1907

An item dated Paris, France 15th reported that the French department of navy feared for the loss of the battleship Jena.(1)

1. Or Iéna. Building ordered on 3 April 1897, laid down at Brest Arsenal, France on 15 January 1898, launched on 1 September 1898, completed in 14 April 1902, magazine exploded on 12 March 1907, decommissioned on 3 July 1907, sunk when used a target ship on 2 December 1909 and sold to be broken up in 1921.
