An item dated Tokyo, Japan 17th referred to statement of the spokesman of the Japanese admiralty who said that Japanese pilots who visited the Chinese inland claimed that Chinese junks and cars regularly abused the flags of nearly every country in the world. This was done as protection against Japanese attacks.
