An item dated London, England 22nd reported that Mrs. Bochanavi Suddhi spouse of the first secretary of the legation of Siam at London launched the river gunboat Ratanakosindra at the shipyard of Armstrong, High Walker-on-Tyne, England.(1) The contract for building of the gunboat was before the war signed.

1. Laid down in September 1924, launched on 21 April 1925, completed in August 1925 and not earlier stricken as in October 1967. Of the Ratanakosindra class armoured gunboats consisting of the Ratanakosindra and the Sukothai.
