Nearly disaster with British submarine HMS A 8 according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1910-1911 no. 5

An item reported that during manoeuvres off Plymouth, England reported that the British submarine HMS A 8 hit the bottom in 60 metres deep water. It took more as a hour to return to the surface.(1)
