An item referred to the magazine le Yacht reporting that the Chinese destroyers Hai-Lung, Hai-Njin, Hai-Ching and Hai-Hoha were built by Schichau, Elbing, Germany. Displacement 250 tons and as dimensions 59 x 6,4 x 1,5 metres. The machinery consisted of 2 triple expansion engines and Thornycroft boilers developing 6.500 hp allowing a speed of 32 miles. The armament consisted of 6-4,7cm guns and their crews numbered 34 men.
