Greek submarine Delphin launched in France according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1911-1912 no. 7

An item reported that the werf Du Petit Creuzot, Chalon sur Saône, France for Greek account the submarine S.C. 2 named Delphin was launched. She was built using Laubeuf designs. The were two more to be built for the Greek navy. The Delphin had a displacement of 300 (surfaced)-460 (submerged) tons. The machinery consisted of 2 oil-fuelled engines. Speed 14 (surfaced)-9 (submerged) miles. Armament consisted of 5 torpedo tubes.(1)

1. Or Delfin, building ordered in September 1910, laid down in 1911, launched in 1912, commissioned on 21 August 1912 and decommissioned in 1920. One sister ship was the Xifias.
