British Royal Navy responsible for aircraft stationed on board of warships according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1937 no. 6

An item referred to the magazine U.S.R. dated 12 August 1936 reported that the British Royal Navy was responsible for the administrative and operational of the Fleet Air Arm if dealing with aircraft in board of ships. The flying boats stationed on shore bases were under command of the Royal British Airforce.
