Large reserve of naval guns for merchant ships stored in England according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1937 no. 6

An item referred to the magazine Marine Rundschau dated July 1937 reported that in England the reserve of naval guns for arming merchant ships had an estimated value of around 2,5 million pound sterling and consisted of thousands of quite modern 7,5/2.9” and 15,2cm/6’ guns.
