An item referred to the magazine Marine Rundschau dated July 1937 reporting that of the British naval building program in 1937 6 cruisers, 9 destroyers and one submarine with a total tonnage of 63.020 ton and in 1938 1 aircraft carrier, 3 cruisers, 24 destroyers and 11 submarines with a total tonnage of 102.630 tons were to be commissioned.
