Boilers of British protected cruiser 2nd class Furious renewed according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1903-1904 no. 7

An item reported that the British protected cruiser 2nd class Furious fitted out with new boilers and a displacement of 5.750 possessed now of a horsepower of 10.270 ihp. Was still to execute her trials.(1)

1. Arrogant-class protected cruisers, consisting of the Arrogant, Furious, Gladiator and Vindictive, preceded by the Eclipse-class and succeeded by the Pelorus-class. Laid down by Devonport Dockyard, England on 10 June 1895, launched on 3 December 1896, commissioned on 1 July 1898 and sold in 1923.
