British Royal Navy losing several patrol vessels according to the Dutch newspaper Noordbrabantsch dagblad het huisgezin dated 27 May 1941

An item dated Berlin, Germany 26th referred to a statement of the British Admiralty that the patrol vessel Viva II sunk.(1) Originally was she a motor yacht suitable due to her speed for guard tasks and escorting merchant ships in British coastal waters. Including her lost the British Royal Navy within 3 weeks 6 patrol vessels.

1. Of her crew of 29 men were 10 saved. She was destroyed by a German bomber HE115 on the 8th 13 miles West from Trevose Head. Gross register tonnage 521 tons. Steamship used as submarine chaser. Built by Camper&Nicholsons Ltd,m Gosport, England in 1929. The FY 030.
