Canadian government planning shipyard on Prince Edward Isle according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1913-1914 no. 5

An item reported that Canada was interested in establishing a government shipyard for building small cruisers and other vessels at Charlottetown, Prince Edward Isle. Charlottetown possessed a good natural harbour, good connections with the government works at Nova Scotia and a preferable geographic position in the line England-Canada.
