USA worried about fast Japanese submarines according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1921

An item referred to the magazine Moniteur de la Flotte dated 24 September 1921 reporting that the USA was worried about the new Japanese submarines fitted out with 2-3 Sulzer engines delivering 16.000-20.000 hp. The US Navy was now building 9 submarines able to follow the squadrons and fitted out with engines delivering 8.000-12.000hp.
