Japanese fishery off Kamchatka of utmost importance according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1935 no. 4

An item referred to the Jap.Chr. dated 23 May 1935 reporting that the rice agriculture in Japan reached almost her limits despite the use of fertiliser. Despite this alarming news grew the Japanese population still and was fish more as ever needed for feeding the people and for the export. Keeping the fishery concessions in the waters around Kamchatka remained of the utmost importance.
