Soviet Tyumen Shipbuilding Plant stared building new series of tugs according to a CIA report dated 24 October 1949

An item reported that the Tyumen Shipbuilding Plant started with building a new series of steam tugs. The K. Skomorokhov and K. Krasnoyarov were already serving on the river Irtysh. Fitted out with radio-telephone devices. Had a large fuel bunker capacity. The same shipyard was far more building paddle-wheel steam tugs and tugs for the timber hauling which had electric welded hulls.
