The fleet of the Albanian navy according to a CIA report dated 16 March 1949

An item reported that the Albanian navy except for 2 minesweepers numbered several motorboats and armed sailing vessels although exact figures were lacking. The minesweepers had as homeport Durres although just was still operational after one stranded in Italian waters near Brindisi. The now available minesweeper had a tonnage of around 20 tons, an average speed of just 6 miles with a propulsion consisting of 2 engines in poor condition and an armament of one Breda machinegun. The motorboats were divided over Durres (4-5), Sarande (1) and Saseno Island (3). A patrol vessel which was originally a German landing craft was in the meantime decommissioned.
