Italian Ansaldo-Armstrong shipyard built Turkish torpedo boats according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens dated 1907 No. 2

An item reported that the ceremony of hoisting the flags in board of the seven torpedo boats built for Turkish acoount at Genoa, Italy was scheduled for 29 November. The the vessels built by the Ansaldo-Armstrong shipyard had a length of 50 metre and a horsepower of 2.400ihp allowing a trial speed of 25 knots. The vessels departed the same day towards Turkey.(1)

1. The in April 1904 laid down 165 tons Antalya class consisting of the Antalya, Urfa, Ankara, Tokad, Draç, Kütahya and Musul.
