Malta-flagged, IMO 7728974, MMSI 248000957 and call sign 9HB4118. ommissioned on 26 June 2015. Gross tonnage 995 tons, standard displacement 1.10,5 tons and as dimensions 66,2 (overall) x 10,5 x 4,4 metres or 214 x 34 x 14 feet. Maximum speed 17 knots. Crew numbered 46 men (including 5 officers). Original armament consisted of 1-4cm Bofors gun, 2-2cm Rheinmetall Rg202 cannons (removed before she was donated to Malta) and 7,62mm L7 machineguns. Laid down as the Aoife (P22) by Verolme Cork Shipyard, Cork, Ireland for the Ireland Government on 3 July 1978, launched on 12 April 1979, commissioned on 29 November 1979, decommissioned on 31 January 2015 and donated to Malta. Ireland-flagged and MMSI 250088000.
