Anonymous Soviet barge sighted at Kherson, Ukraine according to a CIA report dated 13 March 1956

An item reported that in the harbour of Kerson, Ukraine a non-self propelled hull was sighted made of concrete and grey painted with wood made transverse reinforcements and aft a deckhouse. It was fitted out with a small mast at the bow and furthermore two holds. The estimated deadweight was 600-700 tons and at the moment was she loaded with 300 tons of rice stored in bags
