An item reported that the Panamanian flagged ss San Roberto (1) unloaded her cargo off Macau between14 and 15 March 1950 into the Panamanian flagged powered barge San Pedro. The latter seemed to be a rebuilt LST fitted out with wooden superstructures [‘houses’] above the hatches. The cargo booms, superstructures and hull were black painted and the upper part of the after house, foremast and a boom yellow. Apparently she was recently painted.
