Gross tonnage 3.434 tons, summer deadweight 700 tons and as dimensions 89 x 14,5 x 5 metres or 239 x 47 x 16 feet. Passenger accommodation for 115 persons in 53 cabins. Speed 1012 (maximum) knots. Built in Keel laid down on 29 April and launched on 18 December 1975 at the IHC Merwede Scheepswerf, Hardinxveld-Giessendam, Netherlands. Commissioned on 10 November 1976 and decommissioned on 3 June 2004. In advance sold to the Nigerian navy. As the Nigerian cabinet did not pay was the sale cancelled. Owned and managed by Oceanwide Expeditions, Flushing, Netherlands and which had her rebuilt as passenger ship.

Owned and managed by Oceanwide Expeditions, Vlissingen, Netherlands. Built by Gydnia Shipyard, Gdynia, Poland in 1989as a special purpose vessel for account of the Russian Academy of Sciences.Served in the Russian Far East as a passenger and supply vessel and than in charter if Aurora Expeditions, Sydney, Australia which used her as a passenger ship in the Arctic and Antartic seas.
