1. Part of the Iltis-class gunboats, laid down at the Kaiserliche Werft, Danzig in 1898, launched on 18 October 1899, commissioned on 15 May 1900 and scuttled in the German Kiatschou Bay concession on 28 September 1914 when Tsingtao was sieged by the United Kingdom and Japan.
2. The Dutch newspaper Bataviaasch nieuwsblad dated 12 February 1910 reported a ball for the officers of the Austrian Kaiserin Elisabeth and the Luchs.
