An item reported the sighting of several naval vessels in or around the harbour of Sassnitz between 18 January and 5 February 1954 of a destroyer with two funnels berthed in the northern part of the harbour near the bank. With a length of about 110 metres. She was earlier towed into the harbour by the Russian tug Mb-83. She was estimated to be 20 years old and at the moment without armament and apparently without a crew.
