The Royal Netherlands Navy aircraft base in the Dutch East Indies according to the Jaarboek van de Koninklijke Marine 1920-1921

In the period 1 October 1920-30 September 1921 was the temporarily small aircraft base at Surabaya, Dutch East Indies closed. On the new base at Surabaya was started with building a new hangar and a temporarily workshop, both nearly completed. At that moment possessed the Royal Netherlands Navy over the floatplanes V I, W-20 and one Berkel (reconnaissance plane with 2 men on board).
