The building of the Russian kungasy type fishing boats along the Okhotsk coastline according to a CIA report dated 7 July 1949

An item referred to the Tikhookeanskaya Zvezda No. 119 dated 22 May reporting that the construction of the kungasy type fishing boat by yards along the Okhotsk coast still was not started. The kungasy shop part of the Okhotsnab (Okhotek Supply) built three such boats and the labourers assisted the carpenters of the Novo-Ustinskiy Fish Plant how to build this type.
