Inter allied flag hoisted on board of Austrian and German merchant ships in Spanish harbours according to the Dutch newspaper De Maasbode dated 9 February 1919

An item dated Cadiz, Spain 8th reported that on board of the interned Austrian steamships Absirtea, Eros and Eobe the inter allied flag was hoisted. The Absirtea was to depart the 9th towards Italy, the other two towards Marseille, France. On the Austrian and German ships lying at Ferrol, Spain was to the inter allied flag to be hoisted on the 9th.
