Japan, converted for military purposes at the Kawasaki K.K. Shipyard including a gun and 2 machine guns, requisitioned by the Imperial Japanese Navy on 6 November 1937, became an auxiliary minesweeper, returned to owners in 1938, again requisitioned by the navy on 4 April 1940, became a storeship, sunk by American aircraft carrier based planes near Iwo Jima on 15 June 1944 and stricken on 10 September 1944.
