Mutiny within the Yugoslavian navy according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland evening edition dated 31 March 1933

From Belgrade was reported that within the Yugoslavian fleet at Cattaro and Spalato on large scale mutiny broke out. On board of several ships including the flagship Dalmatia were the Croatian flag and the green flag of the ‘international farmer’ hoisted. The ships tried to leave the harbours but their way towards sea was cut off in the bay of Cattaro. A large amount of Croatian officers which formed the major part of the corps officers on board of the fleet were arrested.
