The Algerian, Sardinian and Turkish navies in the Levant according to the Dutch newspaper Ommelander Courant dated 3 August 1790

Florence, 10 July. A Dutch frigate which arrived coming back from Algeria confirmed that the complete Algerian squadron of privateers was sent towards Constantinople to strengthen the Turkish fleet. A Sardinian Half Galey [demi galley?] recently captured a Tunisian galliot with 30 Turkish sailors on board and released 5 Christians.
