Madrid, 7 January. The Spanish frigate la Veloz Pasagera arrived 27 December 1821 at Cadiz with on board 170.000 piasters coming from Vera Cruz, Mexico and Havana, Cuba. In the meantime was Carthagena 25 September surrendered to the Colombian Independents. The Colombian Republic transported the Spanish royal troops with 8 goelettes towards Cuba where they arrived 18 October.
