Build in 1976 at Chantiers de L'Atlantic, St. Nazaire, France under building number X-25, and taken into service the same year.  IMO Number: 7360100, and her homeport was Fos sur Mer. Her cargo was crude. Her dimensions where 414.22 x 63,01 x 28,80 meter. Net tonnage about 226,473 tons and gross tonnage about 274,268 ton. Speed was 16 knots at 64.800 horse power.Sisterships where Pierre Guillaumat, Batillus and Prairial. She was laid up in Norway in 1984 and was broken up at the scrapyard, Ulsan in South Korea.
