Dutch bark ship Theodora en Sara bound for Batavia, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Opregte Haarlemsche Courant dated 28 April 1835

An announcement reported that the very fast coppered and copper fastened 2-decks bark ship Theodora en Sara was bound for Batavia to depart on 15 May. She had excellent passenger accommodation. For more details about cargo and passengers could be asked at shipbrokers D’Arnaud&Comp and B.D. Bosscher in Amsterdam or at the captain Jan Schut on board of the ship lying in the Westerdok.(1) The newspaper Javasche Courant dated 23 September published an announcement that she was homeward bound to Amsterdam in October. 1. The edition dated 25 June reported that she while underway to Batavia was sighted by the captain Zwanenburg. She had hoisted the flag of the Collegie Zeemanshoop of Amsterdam probably showing number 418.
