An item reported that at Singapore tidings from the Philippines were received. At Zamboanga were some gunboats were sold. The buyer intended to sell the boats to the Americans. When the Spanish left were the boats by the home grown crews taken with them to an unknown location. Al the guns and ammunition were removed. In the meantime returned one gunboat.
