An item dated Copenhagen 17 January reported that the Russian 660 tons torpedo boat Dobrovolet 2 on 21 August 1916 was sunk after hitting a mine in the Gulf of Riga . The newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad of the same date called her Dobrowolcz.(1)

Conway’s All the World’s fighting ships 1906-1921 calls her the 570 tons destroyer Dobrovoletz of the Emir Bukharski-class laid down on 12 June 1905 and sunk on 21 August 1916.
