Russian torpedo boat Dobrovoletz lost according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 17 January 1917

An item dated Copenhagen 17 January reported that the Russian 660 tons torpedo boat Dobrovolet 2 on 21 August 1916 was sunk after hitting a mine in the Gulf of Riga. The newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad of the same date called her Dobrowolcz.(1)

Conway’s All the World’s fighting ships 1906-1921 calls her the 570 tons destroyer Dobrovoletz of the Emir Bukharski-class laid down on 12 June 1905 and sunk on 21 August 1916.
