Gunboat Ibis involved in wireless telegraphy experiments according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 27 April 1899

An item reported that the wireless telegraphy experiments of Marconi were very successful. They were executed between the coast of Foreland and the gunboat Ibis cruising in the Channel.
