An item reported that the Panama-flagged tug Geo W. Stevens was towed into the harbour of Oranjestad, She was left behind off the Columbian coast when another tug the landing craft Cape Holcomo towed further to Aruba. She was plundered by the Indians and further more damaged. Only her motor remained and the damage amounted  thousands of dollars. The tug suffered problems so another tug was needed to tow first her drag and later her back to a safe harbour.
