The results of the Dutch shipyard Conrad at Haarlem over 1890 according to the Dutch newspaper Haarlem’s Dagblad dated 2 June 1891


In 1890 was such a numbers of orders received that there had been an employment for 200-320 men and was more as ƒ 103.000,00 of wages paid, this was excluded the wages for permanent staff. An amount of more as 1.300.000 kilo of iron was used during the manufacturing. The Spaarndam lock problem was still not solved.
