German steamship Erlangen captured by British forces according to the Dutch newspaper Soerabaijasch handelsblad dated 28 July 1941

An item dated London 27 July referred to an announcement of the British Admiralty that the German steamship Erlangen was captured by British forces in the southern part of the Atlantic while trying to run the blockade. Her measurement was 6.101 tons and her owner the Norddeutsche Lloyd.
