New Swedish torpedo cruisers to be launched according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1896-1897 no. 10

An item referred to the magazine Le Yacht reporting that Sweden intended to launch the small torpedo cruisers of the Oern design named Edjern and Jarnan. With a displacement of 670 tons were their dimensions 67 x 8,4 metres. The two engines supplied 4.000 hp allowing a speed of 19 miles. The armament consisted of 2-12cm guns, 5-5,7cm guns and 1 torpedo tube.
