French navy increasing her number of submarines according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1901-1902 no. 4

An item referred to the magazine International Revue reporting that the French Navy would be increased in a period of 6 years with 161 torpedo boats and 44 submarines resulting in a total of 300 torpedo boats and 56 submarines.
