An item referred to the magazine Marine Rundschau reporting that the Russian shipbuilding program included the building until 1908 of 2-16.500 ton battleships of the British King Edward VII design (dimensions 131 x 24,4 x 7,9 metres, a speed of 18 miles and a main armament consisting of 4-30,5cm guns and 12-20cm guns), 2 armoured 12.500 ton ships of the Knjaz Potemkin Tavriceski design, 2 large cruisers of the Ocakov design and finally a large number of torpedo boats.
