Chilean hopper launched at Slikkerveer, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 27 December 1901

An item reported that on the 24th at the shipyard of the firm A.F. Smulders at Slikkerveer the hull of a seagoing steam hopper with suction device as launched. She was the third vessel built for account of the Chilean government and to be used for the port of Valparaiso.
