Extradition of German navy officers wanted by Allies according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlndsch-Indië dated 11 February 1920
An item dated Paris the 8th reported that the first list of German navy officers to be handed over to the Allies included the submarine commanding officers responsible for torpeding the five hospital ships and for sinking among other ships such as the Persia, Apapa, Inkosi, Clan Murray, Toko Maru and Clan Mac Leod. One commander was searched for destroying within 10½ month of five ships. Further more were the commanding officers of the warships which bombarded West Hartlepool, Scarbourough and Whitby wanted.
