Argentinean whaler Ernesto Tornquist lost according to the Dutch newspaper Amigoe di Curacao dated 21 October 1950

An item reported that the Argentinean whaler Ernesto Tornquist which was grounded on last Sunday at South Georgia, Antarctic was considered to be lost. She transport 250 workmen for the whale factory at South Georgia when during a snow storm the accident happened. Crew and workmen were safely landed.
