Frankfurt, 17 February. From Trieste came the tidings dated the 7th that according to tidings from Corfi dated 20 January Ibrahim prepared at Modon an expedition destined for Candia or to add Reschid pasha. As soon as this news arrived at Napoli-di-Romania the government ordered a Greek squadron towards the waters of Modon to watch the movements of Ibrahim.
