Movements of French warships in the Mediterranean according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 21 July 1827




Marseille, 10 July. There are ships of the line and frigates in the Mediterranean expected, coming from Brest and Rochefort, ordered to blockade the harbour of Algeria, which now dealing with the weather well to be done. In the harbour of Toulon are some bomb sloops fitted out. All sailors which can be found are embarked. Despite all efforts of the administrator and the police is it still difficult to find enough sailors.
